Our primary purpose is to promote prevention. Sexual assault, harassment, or interpersonal violence may result in consequences that are life-changing and painful. When such events are prevented and people are not harmed, it benefits everyone in the community, and liability, jury awards, and risks are lessened. Litigators and juries have recognized the power of prevention efforts when deciding the degree to which they hold organizations accountable.
The consultation, training courses, and materials are based on understanding the pathways to inappropriate relationships and boundary crossings, research, and collaborating with leading subject matter experts in this arena. Additionally, Dr. Lipson is bringing people together legislatively and pragmatically to prevent sexual misconduct.
Most survivors do not want to see schools, foster care, or youth and religious community organizations vanish. They want them to exist and be safe for those who need these services. We try to make that accomplishment a reality together.
