George Hanshaw, Psy.D., Learning and Human Performance Expert
Dr. George Hanshaw researches and writes on the cognitive and learning sciences as well as human performance. He is currently the eLearning Director of Operations for Los Angeles Pacific University, where he applies his findings and the latest research to the eLearning environment. George also teaches at Purdue University in their Learning Desing and Technology Program.
George has over 20 years of experience in both industry and higher education. He began his fascination (some may say obsession) with learning and performance while working in the aerospace industry at Lockheed Martin, where he spent some of his time at the famed Skunk Works. During this time is when Dr. Hanshaw learned how to be very purposeful about innovation and the creative process.
Dr. Hanshaw was a finalist for the breakthrough of the year in the area of digital education for Falling Walls at the Berlin Science Week. George consistently publishes articles and speaks at conferences on innovative teaching and learning strategies. He shares the latest research and evidence-based research applications to help others create meaningful and effective learning environments where students thrive.
